CN BLUE PROFILE


CN Blue is South Korean rock band but they debuted as an indie band in Japan. CN Blue members consisting of leader Jung Yonghwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Kang Minhyuk, and Kwon Kwang Jin. But in September 2009, CN Blue's Bassits Kwon Kwang Jin left the band and was replaced by Lee Jung ShinCN Blue name is an abbreviation CN for 'Code Name' and BLUE for their individual images. B for 'Burning' represents Lee Jong Hyun, L for 'Lovely’ represents Kang Minhyuk, U for 'Untouchable’ represents Lee Jung Shin, and E for ‘Emotional’ represents Jung YonghwaIn April 2010, CN Blue made their official fan club name as BOICE, a combination of "blue" and "voice."


In June 2009, CN Blue began to perform on the streets and in live clubs in Japan. On August 19, 2009 CN Blue debuted in Japan with their mini album 'Now or Never' and before they issued their debut in Korea, they released 2nd mini-album 'Voice' on November 25, 2009 recorded with both English and Japanese tracksThey debuted in South Korea on January 14, 2010 with their mini album 'Bluetory' with their famous single 'I Am A Loner' under FNC Entertainment. In March, CN Blue started preparations for their first full length album Thank U in Japan. On May 10, 2010 CN Blue comeback in Korea with their single 'Love Light'. On May 19, their released second mini album 'Bluelove'.


Success in Korea, CN Blue comeback in Japan On June 23, 2010 with their single 'The Way'. On January 9, 2011 CN Blue released their Japanese single 'Re-maintenance'On March 21, 2011 CN Blue released their first full length album 'First Step' with the title track "Intuition" which should have been released in February. CN Blue also began promotions their song "Love Girl" from their special mini album 'First Step+1 Thank You', beginning April 29 on Music Bank. After they finished in the Korean promotions, CN Blue return to Japan to make their comeback in Japan with their album '392' which was released in on September 1, 2011. On February 1st, 2012 CN Blue released a new single in Japan ' Where You Are'. On March 16, 2012 CN Blue released their Korean single 'Still in Love' from their third mini album 'Ear Fun'. On March 29, CN Blue held their comeback stage on M! Countdown.
